Surprisingly delightful and addictive.

Normally when I see a game of Flash movie with such a small file size listed as being under judgment I find myself prepared to judge something of low quality. This game is one of those uncommon exceptions to that rule of thumb where the quality seems inversely proportional to the file size. Go figure.

The game play is simple enough and well balanced with the quality of the animation and graphics. Your choice of music and sound effects is also very well selected for this game.

Despite the heavy usage of pastel colors and simplicity of it all (nothing wrong with any of that) I quickly found myself hooked on the game. The only part I found disappointing was how short the game was, though I suspect that this is a shortened version you produced for Newgrounds.

Overall, very nice job. Another example of professional quality work on Newgrounds.

Sometimes it's best to take small steps.

I'd give more specific advice on where to improve, but it looks like in this case I should simply advice you to begin studying game design and Flash from the basics. This probably isn't something you're interested in hearing, but it's a truth that all of us who pursue the fields of game design or Flash animation have to face.

Perhaps you could pick up some books at the library on beginning graphic design, and also some on Flash. That should be enough to get you started and help you produce something pretty nice, even if the concepts behind it aren't so great.

This advice comes from years of personal experience.
